Ted Lapidus

Ted Lapidus since 1951.

Ted Lapidus was the designer, who started in 50s years and was the first who brought the military and safari elements. He  introduced his own fashion salon in 1951. Seven years later, he opened his first boutique on Rue Marbeuf in Paris. He became famous by dressed in safari style, unisex or military jackets. Ted Lapidus also is credited so that the blue jeans became a normal part of everyday clothing.
Ted Lapidus was the man who democratized the French fashion.
